Small-Sample Viscometer
With advanced electronics and software, the ViscoLab 4000 is a highly versatile, dynamic viscometer that can meet the needs of a laboratory with complex processes.
The VISCOlab 4000 Small Sample Viscometer contains a piston-style electromagnetic viscometer and embedded PT100 temperature sensor that provides continuous viscosity and temperature readings.
Measurements can be made in any of twelve overlapping 20:1 viscosity ranges. Viscosity can be displayed in either centipoise (cP) or centistokes (cSt), temperature can be displayed in either °C or °F.
The optional liquid circulating jacket permits operation from -40°C to 110°C. Multiple operating ranges and product set-ups can be precalibrated.
Data is logged internally for storage of up to 1,000 measurements. It can be output to a PC, via the RS-232 serialport for tracking, storage or graphical display. The electronics allow the user to define temperature and viscosity display units, data logging interval, and much more. The electronics also provide digital readings, as well as, statistics on sample stability that allow greater repeatibility between tests and operators.
