Introducing
ASTRA DASH
The world's first modular multichannel leak tester with pneumatically isolated, asynchronous channels.
WATCH THE LAUNCH EVENTFor manufacturers seeking scalable quality testing, Astra Dash is a leak and flow tester designed for easy implementation of the right test protocols. Its modular, pneumatically independent design, combined with the industry's most powerful and user-friendly interface, makes it the most flexible, scalable, reliable, and accessible tester of its generation.
Leak Testing System Built for R&D and Production
Astra Dash is the first of its kind modular multichannel, pneumatically isolated, asynchronous leak tester. It can be configured with up to four independent channel boxes capable of performing test types ranging from Pressure or Flow Decay to Burst, Crack, Creep, differential methods and many more. Each channel box comes with at least one test port and up to three auxiliary ports that can be configured for additional pneumatic routings including for Leak Master reference devices.

Intuitive Touchscreen Interface with Powerful Built-In Control
The channel boxes appear on the touchscreen display as independent entities that are fully configurable with display widgets much like a modern tablet device. Useful for displaying part images, sequence lists, pressure readings, user inputs and more. Putting just the right information for the user on display. The Astra Dash also comes equipped with an unmatched array of discrete digital I/O and a powerful embedded control software to integrate with virtually any automation need, to greatly reduce the dependance on an external PLC layer.
Features & Benefits
Modular Channel Boxes
- Any channel box can be run at any time with a different model type in each slot
- Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) methodology
- Easy to duplicate or swap between systems andproduction sites
Pneumatically Independent Channels
- Enables ‘any product, any time’ manufacturing
- Operate synchronously or asynchronously
- Greater flexibility when configuring applications
- Each channel box is a discrete leak tester unto itself
Widgets & Wizards
- Test method wizards take the guesswork out of new applications
- Production screen ‘widgets’ customize the data shown for each channel
- Accelerate implementation of systems and programs for new users
Designed for Uptime
- Failure of any one channel does not impact the others
- Modularity and independence facilitate hot-swap servicing
- Widgets for diagnostics and data visualization aid decision making
Independent Asynchronous Channel Boxes
Build your system, your way. Each Astra Dash Control Nexus can have up to four channel boxes installed at once with an unlimited number available for interchangeability. Built on Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) methodology, users will no longer be limited by the downtime needed to ship a leak tester in for repair or calibration. Each channel box can be removed and shipped as needed for repair, while a backup channel box sitting ready on the shelf can be pulled, installed and ready to run samples in minutes.
